MMHRC to perform free Cleft Lip/Palate Surgeries

Meenakshi Mission Hospital & Research Centre, in collaboration with Smile Train, USA, will begin performing free cleft lip/palate for anybody older than 13 weeks to 40 years of age.

Chairman of MMHRC, Dr. Sethuraman said that patients who are affected with cleft lip/palate will be treated at Meenakshi Mission Hospital & Research Centre free of cost. Additionally, free food and boarding will be provided to the patient and one attendee. More than 13359 patients had benefited from these surgeries since the launch of the programme.

Mr.Sathish Kalra, Regional Director of South Asia expressed his satisfaction while he reviewed the project work.
