MMHRC makes 3160 smiles & counting

Since 2003, The Smile Train Regional Center has been adding smiles to the children and families with Cleft Lip/Palate. As of today, the Smile Train Regional Center at MMHRC Center, Madurai has performed more than 3160 surgeries.
Families receive counseling about cleft lip/palate surgery at camps provided by MMHRC counselors in various locations around the state of Tamil Nadu throughout the year. The goals of these sessions are to provide families with complete information regarding the clinical and supportive services provided by MMHRC.
“We are pleased to be bringing smiles to these children and their families” said Dr. N. Sethuraman, Founder Chairman, MMHRC. “We are on a forward journey to create a world free of Cleft Lip/ Palate”.
